We’ve been very busy at High Hand Art Gallery in Loomis, where I am a member and have a lovely studio! This weekend is the annual High Hand Tree Lighting (Saturday around 5:30 pm) and the Gallery goes a bit ‘crazy’ with our Victorian Steam Punk Holiday Festival.
No booth in the vendor area for me this year, but lots of amazing guest artists are set up to show, demo and sell. I’ll be leading a hands on “make and take” power coin workshop at 2 pm on Saturday. It’s an abbreviated version of my regular workshop, just $5 for 25 minutes and you end up with some power coins of your own.
Visitors will also be treated to an unusual Steam Punk art exhibit; all media are represented! I have entered a polymer covered journal called “Steampunk Secrets.” Cash prizes will be awarded on Sunday.
