Every picture has a story claims local watercolor artist William Lum. And Mr. Lum diligently researches the story behind each of his colorful and detailed paintings, most of them a depiction of structures or scenes within Placer County.

Lum recently received ArtsCalifornia.net’s “Mo’ Money” award for his entertaining and articulate video interview. He was presented with the cash prize because his interview, which was posted to the ArtsCalifornia.net YouTube channel, received more views than any other ArtsCA.net video for the fourth quarter of 2021.

The videos produced by ArtsCalifornia.net promote artists of all disciplines in addition to arts and cultural organizations throughout California.

Lum’s cash prize was sponsored by General Gomez Arts, 808 Lincoln Way in Auburn, CA.

William Lum’s interview can be found on the ArtsCalifornia.net YouTube channel by clicking or scanning the QR code below.
